Estimated real-world range

The manufacturer claims up to 72 km, measured with minimum assistance, flat ground and a light rider. In normal use (medium assistance, a 75–85 kg adult, some hills and stops) we estimate between 34 and 48 km per charge, based on 10–14 Wh/km with its 480 Wh battery. With maximum assistance, cold weather or steep climbs, expect the lower end of the range.

Example: for a 10 km commute each way, you would need to charge it roughly every 1–2 working days.

Who is the DYU C5 Lite for?

• Tall riders and longer trips: the big wheels roll better and hold speed with less effort.

This model exceeds 25 km/h: ride it only where local rules allow.
