Estimated real-world range

DYU claims up to 42 km, measured in ideal conditions. In normal use (medium assistance, a 75–85 kg adult, some hills and stops) we estimate between 20 and 28 km per charge, based on 10–14 Wh/km with its 281 Wh battery. With maximum assistance, cold weather or steep climbs, expect the lower end of the range.

• Riders who mix cycling and public transport: it folds in about 5 seconds.
• Shopping and errands: the rear rack takes up to 25 kg.
• Anyone after a very affordable folding e-bike: one of the cheapest in our range.
